The Willow Dale Cemetery Preservation Society is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt North Carolina non-profit organization, whose mission is to preserve the Willow Dale Cemetery in Goldsboro North Carolina.  We believe in the power of remembrance. As we work to restore and preserve this historic resting place, we honor the memories of those who contributed to Goldsboro and Wayne County’s history.

Ways to Help

You can help us in many ways.  We hold cleaning events and need volunteers to clean and repair headstones.  We accept cash donations, and donations of supplies.  We also need researchers to research the lives and families of the people buried in the Cemetery.

Research

You can adopt a plot, and dive into history!  Research the individual, their family, and contributions to Wayne County! If you don’t have access to research tools, you can use Ancestry, Fold3, and other online resources at the Wayne County Public library.
